Part of the Appian Way Regional Park, this area feels like a cinematic dreamscape. You will find massive stretches of the ancient Aqua Claudia and Aqua Felix aqueducts still standing, their arches marching across the green landscape toward the horizon. The vibe is peaceful and majestic, especially as the sun begins to set behind the stone structures. It’s a popular spot for local joggers and picnickers but remains largely undiscovered by the mainstream tourist crowd. The scale of the Roman engineering is perhaps more evident here than anywhere else in the city center. It has been used as a filming location for many movies, including the opening scene of 'La Dolce Vita.'
