Mercato di Campagna Amica del Circo Massimo
Rome's largest farmers market occupies a nondescript building behind the Circus Maximus every weekend, selling exclusively from Lazio-region producers. Over 60 stalls offer seasonal vegetables, raw-milk cheeses, house-cured salumi, organic wines, fresh pasta, honey, and olive oil β everything grown or made within 100 kilometres. On Saturdays, the Cuochi Contadini (farmer chefs) cook dishes from the day's produce in the outdoor courtyard. There are workshops, tastings, and cooking demos for adults and children. It feels more like a community gathering than a market.
